How do I get started?
1. Email email@example.com with all the details of your project and we'll get back to you with a quote. Below is a basic breakdown on how our design process works.
1. Submit your images and ideas about the project/cover
2. Supply two or three mixtape covers to reference the style you want created
3. We will brainstorm and agree on a concept for the cover
4. We will then supply you with a quote and a date of completion for the 1st proof
5. You will asked to submit the payment in order to start on your project
6. The 1st proof will be delivered
7. Our design team will apply changes (if needed)
8. Project is completed and you are sent the final files
How much does a mixtape cover cost?
Our Prices range from $75-$399 depending on complexity and turnaround time.
How long does the design process take?
We have turnaround times from 24-72 for those in a rush. As well as 2 week turnaround for those who have time on their side. Once we email you the first draft it all varies on the communication you carry with us. The faster you can give us feedback on our work, the faster we'll get the job done.
How do I upload my images?
You will asked to email your images to firstname.lastname@example.org when speaking with a representative.
Note: Send us the biggest version (highest resolution) of the pictures and logos that you would like us to use in your cover design. Bigger pictures print better and fit better with the hi-res graphics used to create the background of your new cover.
Note: if your images are not large enough we will not be able to use them as part of your design. A note will be sent to you letting you know that new (larger) images are required to create your design. We will not begin work on your design until larger images are provided or until you give us authorization to use our own creative freedom to come up with your design.
What are your terms of service?
Our ability to create the vision of our clients is met with a 99% accuracy rating on the first try. Below is an outline of made you look’s standard terms and conditions for our graphic design services. Please take time to read through thoroughly and ensure you understand these terms and conditions prior to placing a graphic design order with made you look. Made you look reserves the right, at any time, to modify and discontinue, either temporarily or permanently, our graphic design policy, or any part thereof, with or without notice. Your purchase of made you look graphic design services shows your understanding, acknowledgement, and agreement with the made you look graphic design policy.
Client must fill out the form containing the required text for the graphic design. Client must submit a description of their vision, including photos, logos, required colors, “theme”, text, etc. The more detailed the description is, the better chance that the product can be designed right the first time, and skip a multiple revision process. Client may submit sketches or mockups of design ideas, or attach samples of material they have seen and like the style of. Don’t have an idea in mind, not to worry, the our designers have years of experience in graphic design, and can create material based on general text descriptions submitted.
The total graphic design fee is required to be paid in full before the graphic design job is started. You retain the right to ask for a refund if you are not satisfied with the proofs. No refunds are given once the watermark has been removed.
Once you approve your artwork if you require additional redesigns, an additional fee must be paid. Original graphic design proof is created from the design description per the client, unless the client waives their creative responsibility. On all graphic material designed by made you look, you are allowed up to unlimited revisions on the original graphic design proof as long as the proof has not been removed. Once the watermark is removed, an additional fee will be applied to your account, each time the project is re-opened for redesign.
Made you look will provide a low-resolution jpg proof of graphic design to client. Client is only allowed to view proof and may not use the proof for any other circumstance. Once a final composition is agreed upon, made you look will issue a high resolution version for print of the material along with another low grade image, compatible with online promotions.
APPROVAL OF FINAL ARTWORK
The client is required to proofread and approve the proof before the final production of graphic design or artwork. Though we work hard to avoid errors, made you look accepts no responsibility for typographical errors, spelling mistakes, or incorrect information on any project approved by a client. No revisions will be made after a final approval has been given by the client.
Until final approval is received, made you look retains ownership of all graphic design artwork. Made you look reserves the rights to certain elements used to create the client’s image(s) including fonts, patterns, stock images, textures, color palettes and other non-exclusive items.
